COLLAGRAPH IMAGES
CURRENTLY UPDATING IMAGES. MORE IMAGES COMING.
Some of the older photos are not great. They were before I got a Pixel phone with a great camera in it.
In the course I try and show a variety of styles of art, from realistic to abstract, so that there is something that will relate to most participants. You can see that in the variety of photos here.
BLUE LANDSCAPE. I like the subtle colours in this one.
This was done for the Chinese Year of the Horse.
Something a little bit different!
Versions of simple three tone plates.
Tiny owl created using a beer coaster as a plate.
This shows the plate and the print created from it. The print has added Chine Colle.
Here you can see the print on the left and the plate on the right. This was done from a photo of my daughter's cat. He was beautiful! How I did this piece, and the previous owl one, is in one of the lessons in the course.
I printed many different versions of these Kimonos in different colours. They were all different as I like making each one unique. Unfortunately I didn't have a good camera at the time so many of the photos are not very good.
These two in Indigo I printed up recently.
I have always had a bit of a thing about working within a circle. It seems to contain an image rather well. Below you will see a completely different circle piece. I really liked this one and when it was framed up it looked great.
More circular images.
These two prints are in a long format that I played around with for a time until I found out how expensive they are to frame. I rather like the colours on the one on the right.
Signs of Life
This was much nicer in reality. The photo doesn't show up on the detail and is quite a dark photo.
Framed Size 15 inches x 33 inches, 38 x 81 cm.
Golden Totem
Plate size 4 x 21 inches, 10 x 54 cm.
Landscapes
I also did a series of mask prints in a variety of different colours. I reprinted these two recently for a demo in my online course.
"Totem" on left and "Into the Breeze" on the right.
"Golden Vista" and "View From Above".
Two versions of basically the same plate. I moved the little figure in the second one. "In the Village Square' and Fisherman's Village."
The photo of the Golden one is not very clear.
